Just realised that you've got to keep an eye on your team in this competition.
I selected Valencia as my captain at the beginning of the season and of course he's out now until next year some time - I hadn't changed the selection since we began. I've chucked him

Same with me with Lampard as captain. I'll stick with him though. Pete

Yes, I know, but every week they have said he's returning. The way it started he was expected back the week after surgery. This is the first time they've said he may be out through the Arsenal match. I'll probably do something but if he gets more expensive for some unseen reason, I'll kick myself if I can't afford to buy him back. Pete

It's good for morale, keeps the poor lads spirit up.

I change captain according to the opposition sometime but i'm pretty much the Bill Shankly of Fantasy football.

I just read more. An emergency captain is automatically selected if your regular does not play. Can select based upon value or form, form being a 30 day average of his scoring. I haven't looked what's happened in past weeks. We'll see this week. Pete

I'm doing OK, back at the top for the moment by a thin margin. I only have 1.7 in my bank :( Pete

I think I'm going top of this on Sunday, what a contrast to my ITKS.

On a side note, if Liverpool don't get 3 points then the Manager can go and the whole squad need lynching.

I never thought I'd say it in my lifetime but I wouldn't risk £5 on Liverpool beating Blackpool at Anfield.

How the mighty have fallen.

You shouldn't be worrying about your bank balance when you've got crap like Nolan and Williamson in your team Pete, forget the money and upgrade!

Speculate to accumulate!

Cheez, if you have lost faith on them, what's going to happen. I've put them Scousers as my banker tomorrow against Blackpool. First time this season that I didn't use the Gunners for that.
