Thanks for the tips Migrant Ill take a looksee.

As y can see I have an eclectic taste usually driven by "headline" names so people like you sending me down new paths of music is very very welcome.

I just love my music played by musicians and not machines.

The Great Bar Staff Exodus of 2010 has seen the end of my mellow mood, so its back to the loud stuff

In a few months a documentary on this band is being released called The Death and Resurrection Show....its a ripping, fascinating insight into the band, and should scare the willies out of the Southern Baptist crowd in the US. Ladies and gents, the scary as hell and twice as angry KILLING JOKE with the track recorded inside the Great Pyramid of Giza sarcophagus chamber.... PANDEMONIUM



and the track that, once seen on The Tube, turned a mild mannered miners son into a clog wearing anti-establishment contrarian .... EIGHTIES...sound familiar? Its should do....Nirvana ripped the riff off 10 years later for Teen Spirit....

Pickin' Up the Pieces by Fitz and The Tantrums.

I just cannot stop listening to this! If you like feelgood soul with a retro 60's/70's/80's flavour and the duality of male & female vocals then you should love this.

Soaring vocals from Noelle Scaggs on the last two tracks - Winds of Change and Tighter - are up there with any of the great female soul artists IMHO.
