Are there any decent tattoo artists in Hua Hin or would I have to go further afield? Has anybody you know been inked whilst in Thailand, and were they happy with it? I had one done in Patong (Phuket) in 2003 and was quite happy with it, and it was CHEAP!!
Thanks in advance. Ellycat.

I don't know about decent as I don't have any "tats", but there are a few places. One long time one (so maybe good) is in the alley off the road to the beach beside the Sofitel. Just go past Billy's bar. It's in that (bazaar) area between Billy's and Bernie's Inn.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
On the beach about 200 metres south from the Sofitel
Guy there did mine. Clean and cheap if you barter. Go early as pm he is high and drunk. Sounds grim but he knows his trade. go along for a beer and browse his catalogues

Way back in my student days I used to go to a barber school and get cheap haircuts done by the students. Hair grows back, but tattoos don't come off (easily). I guess someone has to be 'first' though, but not me. Pete

Does the place that used to do the Thai Buddhist type as in the monks tattoos still exist , I remember reading about the guy who did traditional tats the old way in town somewhere.
I was talking to some one who had one done in a wat in bangkok some time ago.
