Well only got to see the 1st goal sitting in the aptly named Champions Bar on Kuala Lumpar Airport on my way back from 16nights in Patong/Surin Beach and Krabi. Heard the result in the taxi on the way home from Perth Airport at 5.30am in the morning.

Got to see the Stoke game in the Otop Market bars in Patong and the Liverpool game in the Surin Beach Inn. After the Liverpool game, I could see no way that we would loose against Wigan. The confidence in the team play was top class over the last few games and really could not see any way we were going to loose that game.

Well Portsmouth this week end, so hopefully we will at least have the Double this year.

There was an add in the local paper here renting out space in the trophy cabinets at Old Trafford/Highbury & Anfield. If you want to rent it says to apply to either Fergie/Ars or Raffa @wonfcukallagain.co.uk.

cheers:
PS Bigboy, I bet you wished you had not got rid of Ian Holloway now. 1 Game away from the Premier League now.

Nobody got rid of him - he was worshipped by the Green Army, and he walked away in a very hateful/hurtful way. The only person that wanted him to go was Ian Holloway. He will never be forgiven for the disgusting way he talked about those who worshipped the very ground that he walked on.

Just a hypothetical. If Ferguson retires does anyone think Mourinho would be offered the job? He doesn't seem happy in Italy and he's hinting all the time he's unsure of his future. His contract is until 2012 or 13. I think he would jump at the chance if offered. I feel Ferguson will indeed retire soon, perhaps as early as this off season? Pete

It's 90% certain that he'll be going to Real Madrid in the summer, Guillem Balague and other "In the knows" of RM are claiming it's practically a done deal.

Fergie wont retire until He's "Knocked Liverpool off their F*****g perch" IMO.

Does anyone know when the fixtures for next season are published? I assume it's on the same date every year. Pete

I thought it would take 2 months, not 2 fixtures.
