Premier League 2009-10
Re: Premier League 2009-10
Please please don`t let Spurs finish third, their fans will carry on as if they`d become European champions.

It was an interesting game. City started well enough, but couldn't maintain the pace and by the end, Spurs were in such control that City just looked what they were - a disorganised rabble. To be blunt, they were better under Hughes.
But well done Spurs and I'm glad I got something right this season. Wish I had put a bet on my pre-season prediction!
BB - please don't offer me advice again!!!!

Mancini, being Italian, seems to favour the tactic of playing most of the game trying to stop the opposition scoring then hope to snatch a late winner. Taking on Arsene`s rejects didn`t work.

Could a good tatoo artist change the champions to chumpions?

I'm looking for his wife in that photo and can only assume she's a pile of mash on the floor somewhere,or back in the bed at home.
If he drinks his beer and eats his food at St. James, then more money in the purse for players.
Win or lose those magpie fans don't quit!

After a bit of brainstorming for a poster and media campaign against the yanks which started 3 days ago on a Liverpool fan forum (RAWK), they are already upto this stage.

There are only two clubs I honestly can say I dislike and that is Chelsea and Man City, this for the simple reason of using large amount of money to buy star players rather than developing juniors. I mean these two clubs are driving the game of football in the wrong direction.BaaBaa. wrote:Anybody feel sorry for Citeh?
Despite being an Arsenal fan it was joy reading Spurs overthrowing Man City. And lets hope Man United win the title.
Re: Premier League 2009-10
I agree with you, Terry being the prime example. Plus the numerous academy players with other clubs both in the UK and across europe, one of whom just won the Dutch league with FC Twente. Five academy players are joining the 1st team squad for next season.stgrhe wrote:There are only two clubs I honestly can say I dislike and that is Chelsea and Man City, this for the simple reason of using large amount of money to buy star players rather than developing juniors. Why not include Liverpool, Spurs and the Manure in that equation? And just how many home-grown players have come through the Arse academy?
Oh, and you're going out and buying in the summer, in the vain hope of actually winning something, according to Mr. Whinger. So why don't you drop him a line and tell him you disapprove?

john terry being the only example & even he started out at west hamcaller wrote: I agree with you, Terry being the prime example. question is, how many of the youth players will actually get a game?

you've got one playing at left back for you & even anelka could be considered an arse productAnd just how many home-grown players have come through the Arse academy?

we also have practically the whole of last years 'historic' academy double winning side out on loan.
& with the current side into the academy play off final again having dumped manure on their own patch yesterday, the academy set up looking healthy

difference is, we're buying players with money generated through the club & paying wages within our financial capabilities.Oh, and you're going out and buying in the summer, in the vain hope of actually winning something, according to Mr. Whinger. the same way we built our new stadium & academy & training ground

we don't have a sugar daddy footing the bill

ps, unlike my fellow gooner stgrhe, i will definately not be rooting for the mancs tomorrow
