I'm sorry guys, the Lille result completely passed me by. I don't normally take that much notice of the Loser's Cup. Does that mean Liverpool are out (I thought with their pedigree they would be dead certs - can't even use the excuse they're going for a Champions League place any more)?

Does the UK have any teams left in the Loser's Cup?
Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 2 Leeds Utd

Points 46; Position 23 RELEGATED

It's two legs BB, Liverpool play Lille next week at Anfield and Fulham are 3-1 down Juventus after the first leg in Turin.

Some big sides in it to be fair.

I wondered how I had missed it. I'm sure it would have made the news if they were out.

I would guess it was a TV thing. 4 of the matches kicked off early, and 4 matches took the later slot.

Another fantastic performance by Fulham, this time beating Wolfsburg in Germany with a fantastic goal by Zamora. They were by a mile the better team - lets hope they go all the way - semi-finals next! Do they avoid the scousers?

Brilliant! Fulham beat Hamburg 2-1 after going a goal down to reach the final! Absolutely fantastic!!! :thumb:

Scousers currently 2-1 up in their SF playing extra time, so it could be an all England final!

Come on Fulham!!!!! :thumb:

Oops, now 2-1 to the Scousers at HT in extra time, giving the Spaniards the advantage with the away goal and leading from the 1st leg.

Kuyt just did a 'Barca'!

Couldn't even make it to the final of the losers cup - could be a lean season next year also. I can't see the likes of Gerrard staying for domestic football only.
