Jailhouse has had the best pork for years IMO - the loin is a special - needs to be ordered in advance if you want the full loin roast and served on a potato gratin. Serves 2. Bootiful!

Another gem is Kim's Kitchen between soi 88 and the railway station. It can be a bit noisy from the nearby traffic but the food is good and at reasonable prices.

My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

If you are cooking your own as a roast we normally get from JD place. Thaw and then soak in apple juice or cider for a few hours. Gives fantastic crackling and soft sweet meat. Serve with rosemary, sage or tarragon potatoes and gravy made with the juices or mushroom cream sauce with a little flamed alcohol of your choice, again with the juices from the carved meat and a little of the stock to give the apple hint. Great cold with any fruit chutney especially if it contains a little ginger and some strong cheese.

Sorry Sam

Going to a friends for roast suckling pig, foie gras and plenty of fine wine this evening. Bit of a chore in this heat, we could do with some snow. Got any laying about over there ?

Never mind, next time I'm in town I'll be turning up on your doorstep!
Blame the recipe. I'm going to try it, sounds delicious and we can get excellent pork loin here from Costco.
Thanks, crazy! :thumb:
