nop nice was a tradition on our yearly visits. does anyone know if the owner has reopened in a new location. thanks

Sadly the owner I believe has gone to America. Nip Nop is sadly missed as in my opinion they served the best value BBQ Pork chop in Hua Hin.

Nop was a good character a long established Hua Hin Restaurant family -

They used to cook at the old 'Friendship' which was on the same location before Satukarn Square existed.

I heard he has now gone to Sweden.

I might be wrong but I think I may have got a flier stuck in my gate from a restaurant by that name.

Heading towards the palace if I remember correctly, I might even still have the flier but can't help for a few weeks.

Proceed up Nong Plub Road from town and turn right at the road beside the Fire Station and entry to the Hua Hin Dog pound. Go straight on up to the temple and turn right and follow the road ( 200 yds) to the junction. ( This is at the beginning of the hill up towards Elephant Village) follow this and you will see the NOP Nice restaurant sign straight on towards the Canal Road traffic lights.

Well before the lights and the market there is a sign to the right and the restaurant is on the left.( this turning is about half way between Nong Plub Road and the Canal Road traffic lights


All in all about 1000 yds from Nong Plub Road

good restaurant for cheap Thai food, beer and football too, before you get to nop is Kookai on the right hand side. not far past the wednesday and sunday market.
