Cable tv

Being at home quite a bit during the day, I tend to have the tv on most of the time loking at the movie channel. Sometimes they show some decent stuff.
However, over the past week, I've been surprised at how many non-English language films they're showing. Mainly in German and French.
Now, I hasten to add that I've got nothing against the languages per se and can speak a bit of both, but have the local cable network noticed some kind of subtle change in the demographics of nationalities living in HH?

I think it's due to the fact that they get the channels that are the cheapest.
