How about an online radio show, i would listen in for sure.
Thought about it but you need a serious and reliable internet connection to stream audio to multiple listeners simultaneously. These are somewhat lacking in HH.

Anyway, lets get this :offtopic: (maybe start a new thread in suggestions about possible HHAD expansion, it will be interesting to see the ideas!).

Well, I went to Songkran(surprised it lasted for only one day) 2008 in HH(had been a few times before) and joined. I was looking for employment and an alternative to the northeast(Korat/Khon Kaen etc) because my wife is not from where I work and we were looking for an option close to the beach. We have decided on HH but it take a while to finally sort it out.

Still a young guy, lots of time, I'm even younger than Buksi.

Found the site in a web search in "El Murphy's" to be honest.

Making me feel old here, still feels like this cold weather has added ten years to me this week!

How did you find HHAD?

Buksi - re reliable internet connections. Last November there was an article in one of the many HH comics (the black and white one I think, but not AWOL) saying that the mayor of HH promised full broadband coverage for the whole of HH in 6 months. I.E by May. (Or was it full WiFi?) Anyroad I wonder what is meant by 'HuaHin' in that context? Theres still only one exchange serving what is now a large spread. The further away you live from the exchange the slower your connection according to BT. Which makes sense. So do they erect repeater/booster thingies or what?

BTW if HHAD Radio ever comes about I think Sarge should do the early morning show  :lach:

how I found your site

Post by brob »

Good morning,
I picked up a copy of your newspaper on a recent visit to Hua Hin. Your site was mentioned in one of the articles. We enjoyed our stay so much, my wife and I are returning on the 27th of April for an extended stay, We will be looking for a 2/3 bedroom condo/house on arrival.
Enjoyed the newspaper and this site is very informative. Looking forward to our trip and learning to speak (pidgin?)thai.
