Following recent suggestions, heres a place to discuss nightlife, accommodation, activities and pretty much everything else regarding Cha-am. Hope some readers out there can contribute as my knowledge on Cha-am is pretty limited.

I've seen local busses runnig to Cha-Am during the daytime. Is there transportation running after hours? How much to take a taxi from HH to Cha-Am?

Appx 500 Baht for a taxi but try some negotiation.
Bus no 1 stops in Cha am, but not no 2. (Buses to Bangkok).
I intend to live forever - so far so good.

You shouldn't need to pay more than 350. Thai pay 300.
