This was issued before, (20th Nov) the shutdown of the Airport. There is a whole range of alternative nav aids at this airport, and this is only a very small part of one runway. Any excuse given out by an airline is probably just that-----an excuse for their own shortcomings. :cheers:

Hallo There Y'all HHAD Friends and Fellas!

Yesterday it was reported on Thai TV Air Traffic over S'bhumi reached 500 Departures and arrivals. Next week The American TSA will be monitoring Security proceedures @ Swampy for a week beferoe giving thier Seal of Aproval.

Ohhh Yeah The Chaiman of AOT said it still tries to aim that S'bhumi airport is one among the Top 10 of Worlds best International Airports. Well Good Luck and dream on achieving this Goal.

I heard that Ho Chi Minh City is going to build Asia's biggest Airport by 2012 is that true?

Yes, i heard the same on TV. It was a statement from an official of a world aircraft association. Sorry lost the name of this one. But he clearly said that 3% of the worlds cargo tarnsport is running through Suvarnabhumi Aiport and the members cannot afford an airport closing. So they have to open a new hub in Vietnam.
