That would be the thread locked because it was duplicating another thread?

When could you ever travel/fly 'uninterrupted' to HH?.

My error, what I was trying to get across was that every visitor to HO Hin is best served by flying via BKK so has a vested interest in whether airport is open
So it's OK to fly to Hua Hin but not to Chiang Mai?

Nobody can fly in or out of Bangkok at the moment - that seems to be international news.
Certainly is except on this site
Expletive deleted :D

Why is a train passenger less of a tourist than a bus passenger, plane passenger or car driver/motorcycle rider? (Or hitchhiker, come to think of it...)
Thats purely my opinion I am afraid,to travel you need to take advantage of all options not just plane, plane and more plane.
You mean like bus, car, motorcycle, hitchhiking....?
Digger, why do you always call Hua Hin 'HO Hin'?
I get the impression that you don't like this forum much, or am I missing something?
This is the way

Contrary to your unusual perception,I really like this forum and look forward to revisiting the place itself in Jan 2009 when I do a long trail.KL.Hanoi,Dien Bien Phu.Luang Prapang.Chang rai.Bangers, brief train stop at a little fishing village 4 hours south of bangers,on to Hat yai, then 3 weeks exploring Malaysia.
I think I have always preffered to call it HO HIN,its what my old mucharoo Widge of London Lounge fame used to call it but if it will make you less hostile I could possibly refer to it by its proper title if it really is that important.
However I cannot say that I agree with every post that appears on the website but Hey you do not seem to like mine.
However I would like to hear more about what is going on in BKK on this site,Bangkok post.com is actually vague and very short in its editorial but reporting in that vein seems to have dried up and I am very curious

Good decision Sandra
Be sure and enjoy the departure out of bangkok as they have to stop a lot of roads downtown to let the train pass, and the journey out of town takes you through a jungle of informal housing that has grown up right by the tracks.

Digger, this question was asked before the problems at BKK, the OP was happy with the info but then you started chanting crap.

This thread http://www.huahinafterdark.com/forum/ba ... 10827.html was locked because this thread http://www.huahinafterdark.com/forum/su ... 10824.html was already open.

You should have been able to work that out for yourself, everybody else did.

Now get off your high horse and learn how to quote properly, maybe then I could make sense of your badly thought out posts.

Indeed Babaa you are right its been terminated and moved to 'News' which I feel is inappropriate as it might best be served on ' on the road'

Never been on a high horse in my life afraid to say, come from 30 years in oilfield and thats balls to the wall and say it like it is but plan to continue to voice my opinions on this site ad ifinitum or till Lev feels its time to shut me down as its his intelectual property alone but so far he deems it approptriate that i should continue and if he decides my comments have become unacceptable I will abide by his decision.

No problem here but our T&C's do state that:
Because your posting may be more pertinent to another on going discussion, or it might spawn its own thread, it may be moved as HHAD sees fit.
We did consider this 'news' since it has been running at the top of every news agency in the world.
