Re: Can you still extend a 60 day tourist visa in Hua Hin

Hi there,
Can I extend my tourist visa anytime after I arrive or do I have to wait until there only a certain amount of time left on it?

Veg curry shop near the chinese temple off Chomsin Rd

Hi,
I will be in Hua Hin soon and I was wondering if the veg place close to the Chinese temple is still there? It's on a small road parallel to Chomsin. There used to be two veg places on this road, the one I am interested in is furthest from the railway line.

Cheers, Neil

Can you still extend a 60 day tourist visa in Hua Hin

Hi,
Last time we were in Hua Hin (2012) we were able to visits on a 60 day tourist visa issued in the UK and extend for another 30 days at the Hua Hin immigration place. Is it still possible to do that?

Cheers

Re: Roadside restaurants, street food. Best of the best

Sai Krok (Isaan sausages) are fermented which is why they don't spoil. You mix rice, pork, garlic and salt and then wait for the magic to happen in a warm place. I don't know all the science but lactic acid builds up and along with the salt this kills nasties and gives the sausages their sour taste....

Isaan grilled chicken recipe?

Hi, I'm unfortunately UK based for the foreseeable future. I was just wondering if anyone had a good recipe for Isaan style grilled chicken, like they serve from the Som Tam carts. I am hoping to get some outdoor cooking done and I miss the taste of that stuff so much. I can make a good som tam but ...

Good Tailor?

Hi,

I have a shirt that I want to get copied. I am looking for a tailor that will deliver a really good quality product. I'm not looking for a cheap deal. Any suggestions?

Cheers

Re: Christmas feasts

Yes I'd really like to know where you can get a good Scandinavian Christmas spread and whether the countries differ much in their festive food.

Christmas feasts

Hi all, Our first Christmas here and looking forwards to sampling the festive delights of as many nations as possible.
