If you are an Australian citizen we have a very inexpensive and effective distance ed system, I teach my son, he is seven. I can totally recommend it especially due to the very expensive school fees here.

Thanks for your help. In the end I asked if an Australian engineer or teacher would suffice, and they said yes. So I had a neighbour sign it. Apparently someone who is an upstanding and well educated person in the community is also eligible to sign a stat dec. I saved myself a trip to Bangkok. Yeah!

I have a question about visas for children. I have heard different things. Is it true that children under 14 dont need a visa. Or is it under 7? There have been conflicting answers between immigration and Thai embassies and my school's lawyers. Does anybody know for sure. Thanks in advance.

I am looking for a Thai teacher for my son. He is 7 and will start distance ed on the 18th of July. I would like to integrate Thai lessons into his programme.He has already learnt a lot of the Thai alphabet.
