anybody tried the v.villa? is it suited for a single gentleman?
if you have staid there yourself would you reccomend it?

I would tend to agree with 'usual suspect' and recommend PP villa. Central, cheap clean and ideal for a single man. Most people are quite happy to eat out at many of the nearby restaurants. it sound good indeed.... but do they have their own site? I have not been able to see photos or rates, not ev...

La Maison and Wannara are both good hotels and close to the centre. Some good places in Chomsin road to, and likely to get a good deal if staying a decent length of time. if you would like to spend some weeks in huahin, and either
stay at the tipurai or the sirin, which one would you choose,
if you were a single gentleman, and why? should I book for
the whole period, or start with a few days?

Holiday Inn in the UK are the same, reception are not allowed to discount, but online rates are better. This is not confined to hotels, we found a rate on Emirates Airlines online, went to their town office to book, their rate was higher, the ticket agent advised us to go home and book the flights ...

I have not yet been able to find out whether the huahin hilton will offer discounts for a stay longer then 3 weeks. does anybody know if they still do? some years ago they gave me a reasobable cut on the normal rate, but now... my period of stay would be february. thanks for any good advise.
