How many parents in Hua Hin do you think are willing to pay 500,000 plus a year for their childs education, hence this has not come about.

So how many parents reading this thread could afford a real international school if one was to open in HH?

Very similar at Somtawin. At least it was a few years back. Problem I saw then was that the Thai teacher in my son’s class didn’t speak any English and wasn’t very friendly towards the English teacher. Therefore there was little or no communication between the two teachers. They kind of did their ow...

I don’t think most Thais see past the end of their nose. I’ve never met a Thai including my wife who can sit back, look at a situation and understand how it affects them directly/indirectly. I’m tired of reading about the criminal bad guy versus the Oxford educated good guy… In my opinion; PM Abhisi...

What I can't get my mind around is how Thai's never connect the dots back to themselves. Before long this whole thing will be blamed directly on the farangs. Closing the airport was a huge success for the PAD. If I was a tourist planning a vacation I'd stay far away from Thailand.

If you asked me Thailand has been going down crapper since the coup.

Good point but I don't think these guys were arrested in go-go bars... The parents or guardians of these children should be executed along with the pedophiles. My opinion

The TAT in cooperation with the private sector will come up with different tourism campaigns and promotions to draw in more tourists as well.

Now that's funny....

Short term... How about the long term damage? Thailand has shown it's ass to the world once again... I guarantee you that the general population either don't care or simple don't understand.
