No Swimming pool !!Dannie Boy wrote: ↑Thu May 15, 2025 5:50 pm Not sure how much we had today - I’d estimate about 5mm although yesterday was almost rain free. We live quite close to some fairly steep hills that seems to draw the clouds in.

Re: 'How To' - Requirements for visa extensions etc
I read the other day that an extension has been granted to submit tax returns, so until the final date is confirmed, they couldn't ask for anything anyway - not that I think they will. Except for yourself I do not know anybody who has done the income tax thing - all have agreed with me that we are ...

In Hin Lek Fai it was a downpour for 2 hours. It stopped at 8.30pm. My water gauge overflowed at 50mm. The lightning continued past 9.00pm when I fell asleep until 5.am.

Re: Wise formerly Transferwise
I have a theory that Wise algorithms make a decision on wether to transfer immediately or wait. On the premise they can make a bit more margin. Say you transfer £1 and get a rate of 44b , if Wise think the THB is going to go down over night or next day , you get it instantly. If its going to up , t...

I rarely drink wine so I'm no expert, but re Mar y Sol (sea and sun) I'd also be interested to know. I tried it long ago and think I remember it was inferior to Peter Vela, but drinkable. Price would then be the decider but no idea what anything retails at. I have now given Peter Vela ( red) a good...
