Re: British Embassy Bangkok to stop Certification of Income Letters

Good interview but it still implies that your income has to be shown in a Thai bank. Did I understand that correctly? Absolutely, so whilst it was made fairly clear, there will be a lot of expats who although they may have income equivalent to +65,000 Baht a month, they may not transfer that to Tha...

Re: British Embassy Bangkok to stop Certification of Income Letters

OK I will try to go next week and will report back, I have never had a problem with immigration over the last 12 years and I do have the certificate of marriage and a copy notarised by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the British Embassuy.

Re: British Embassy Bangkok to stop Certification of Income Letters

LOMU - the ability of using ones marriage to a Thai for the annual extension seems preferable now, with the financial requirement being 50% less. Can you advise what the requirements immigration require over and above what we have been providing?

Yes, but was it provided because Hua Hin had expats, tourists or because of Bangkok Hospital as is being suggested?

We probably all know the real reason.

Re: Good Dentist HH/Panburi Location

I'm not sure how we can be sure of safe practice in respect of unclean instruments. All decent surgeries will have sterilisation kit, but how do we know how well it is used? I've never heard of anybody becoming ill as a result of using a Hua Hin dentist. I think we'd all be interested in learning h...

Re: Good Dentist HH/Panburi Location

I would have thought that Nana was somewhat cheaper than the Bangkok hospital prices - so why not check this first?

Re: GBP vs THB

It is going to be a rough ride for the pound but as soon as the EU starts making the right honest moves to protect itself , then common sense will surely prevail. This will start to happen at their meeting in October IMO. What must never be forgotten is that the EU is terrified that if their members...

Re: Borderless Account of Transferwise

Limited to $1,000 per day for a resident is very little unless one is happy to pay the bank charges say 4 times a month or probably more often and, not forgetting, the trouble to go about the whole transfer issue each time.

Is anybody else having trouble with TVMucho today? It's working more like HD Prime for me.
Sorry - no problem at all - and since I signed up a month ago all has been good except for when they got hacked in World Cup for a few vital mins ( so quickly went to HD Prime where I had a small credit)

Yes HHT 3BB were good to us also when we connected to Fibre, because the cable had to come about 1.5 klms - there were two of us wanting the connection and we were both charged 1 years subscription in advance.
