Re: Good Dermatologist in Hua Hin
There's a young lady Dermatologist immediately next to Avis car hire on the way into HH from Cha Am. Just past Index then Hafele. She's open about 5 -8 weekdays and Saturday mornings. Well qualified and comes well recommended.

Re: Glasses (optical variety)
Doctor Pairat is excellent, imho, very professional and, in addition to measuring your eyesight, looks at the retina to see if there are any other potential problems brewing. Last time I went he charged 500 THB for assessment and told me there was nothing wrong with my current prescription, see you ...

Re: Plan to make English 2nd language vetoed
I thought English had become the second language of the UK, only problem is that no-one knows or is allowed to discuss what the first one is (Arabic, Polish, Urdu, Hindi et al)

Try soi 88-1 just before market village. Physio is about 500m up the soi on the right. I've not personally tried her but by all accounts she is good and not too expensive

Re: Male - Female Distinction Words
Personally I've always been confused when a lass uses Khaa or Mai. Does she really mean "Yes" when she shouts Kha and, conversly, does she really mean "No" when she screams Mai. I tend to use my own interpretation and hope it goes no further, but any advice would be appreciated :(

Personally, whilst understanding all the complaints let's put them in perspective. There is no airport on earth that does not have problems and Swampy, imho, performs well in comparison with so many other airports I have visited and I fly virtually every week. Most airports have pilferage problems, ...

Re: medical insurance
I can recommend Bupa. Had three major operations and numerous skin problems over the 8 years with above company and received good services and not once did they not pay. I recommend to calculate with an approx. amount of 10% more every year. Agree with BUPA International, however when I asked BUPA ...

I checked with them and the only problem with BUPA Thailand is that you cannot transfer from BUPA International or BUPA elsewhere and have all your pre-existing problems taken into account. This may seem strange, particularly as it is supposed to be the same Company at the top, but my International ...
