Well, at the moment the caddies say they are only working 2 or 3 times a week maximum. When I played there last week there were only a handful of other people playing. Io think this probably reflects the current state of the course.

I see that Black Mountain are NOT participating. Perhaps because the course is not even worth 800 Baht to play at the moment. And, yes, I did play there this week.

Transport is arranged for 'out of town' courses. Members without transport usually arrange a lift with someone. You'll find they are a good friendly crowd.

Agree with JW and Danny Boy. I have had many great evenings at Bobby's Bar. Bobby is as straight a guy as you could find. The free sunday lunch is a good deal. Easiest way is to have two bank accounts in Thailand in GBP and Baht. You can set up a standing order in the UK to transfer to your Thai GBP account. I'm amazed that you say Makro is limited in it's supplies. they have a great range of Indian spices. Maybe a bit short on the choice of pickles but they have everything else you would need to create a decent curry.

Well you can all get as much Rugby as you like now on TSP1. At last UBC have done something for all of us disgruntled Rugby Fans. Everything except the Heineken Cup which you can find on Astro Eurosport. Weekends just got even better!
