Re: Back to my question
The busses from here seem to be haphazard as far as amenities.. you risk your life trying to use a bathroom if they even let you, you get a bottle of water and a bun (sometimes.) Seat may or may not be broken and reclining is about two inches from upright. AC works or it doesnt. TV blasts or it doe...

I love the sound of that place - if only someone in Hua Hin would do something similar. Perhaps there's a bar owner out there with a spare shelf or two to stock some books though how you'd facilitate the swapping I don't know. I've got a few books I'd be happy to lend (no chick lit though - I hate i...

What a bunch of moaners! Were we at the same event?? No, it wasn't all jazz strictly speaking, but a group of us got there for eight o'clock both nights with wine and food and room to stretch our legs. The atmosphere was great, people were friendly... Much as I like the music at genie bar, it's so n...

I think you're wrong there Holly, no men believe they are rescuing anyone, or not paying for sexual services, but are 'helping the girls out'. I reckon all men (apart from a couple with a screw loose) know they are paying for sex, but many of them may say what you are suggesting, due to the stigma ...

I drive to Bangkok and back about twice a month and usually manage it in 3 hours, including a stop at Nantawans for a curry and a box of pineapple biscuits. When its all finished the journey will be a doddle. Within a year I would bet. I agree. If you do this trip regularly, you'll see how quickly ...

Why should youtube remove a video deemed offensive by one country? By that logic, we could censor videos of people eating bacon, stripping, drinking beer, zapping mosquitoes... they could all be offensive to someone. I think censorship is a dangerous path. Who decides? And how many of these farangs ...

From experience... the amount is calculated according to documentation accompanying the shipment. In this case, none of the crates were actually opened or checked by customs... Then the money due was disputed and, after 5 hours of haggling was reduced by a substantial amount.... if you do go ahead, ...
