3 hours flat from the Hilton to the new airport in the first week it was open. The taxi driver was not the best, he brought his wife to provide directions. He stopped 3 times to take a toilet break. My guess is with a good driver 2.5 would work.

Just read the post. Quite disapointing.. stayed at the Sofitel for the first time last July. Loved when they did the performance in the main lobby, What talent. Too bad Sofitel.... you loose. Please let us know if the band ends up somewhere else in HH. Hopefully the following will follow.

Thanks for the directions, I think. If you see someone with a dazed look on their face wandering anywhere close to where the directions have indicated please point me in the right direction.

The information above seems strongly to indicate that the buy and then lease out option in Hua Hin or Thailand does not seem to make sense or in this case "cents". Thanks for the input

I too enjoy the Hilton as well as the Sofitel. Great view, nice rooms, centrally located. I regularly visit HH. Interesting experience in getting prices however. One would think that on-line as a Hilton club member or a Sofitel member you would get you the best price. I have yet to beat the travel a...

OK so where is Sugar Cane or is that an appropriate question for the forum?

Now this makes a great deal of sense. Anyone else done the math on this? I guess the questions then become, will land and costs continue to go up so that getting in now saves money later. Thoughts appreciated

Jockey Thanks for the link. It looks like these folks do franchise and business establishment plans but there link show a legal part to their business as well, such as how to deal with the Visa Runs. Any idea if they deal only with people that are buying businesses.
