Re: Dengue fever in Hua Hin?

I've had dengue fever, it's not good, I'll take my chance with Deet, although I do agree it can't be good for you if used often.

Re: British girl raped in Kanchanaburi

The posts on TV are the usual disgusting, anti-Thai, 'asking for it', kind of rubbish that just confirm what many think about the quality of the expat community here.
I saw these comments last night and was disgusted too, there are some real no nothing scum bags about for sure :guns: :guns:

He's got an even bigger tattoo on the other side of his face, classy. I spoke to him actually, he was there with his tgf or wife, thought he was Dutch, obviously a master of disguise!

I know an Irish fella who goes twice a year to Koh Samui. He fills his suitcase with steriods, pills, injectables, all sorts, takes them back to Ireland & sells them in his local gyms. This payes for his trips to Thailand, he has been stopped at customs, but simply said they're for personal use,...

My Mrs was advised to have some jabs before we came back to los this year. Your imune system starts to drop after 18 months we were told. Can't remember what they all were, one was tetanus mixed with diphtheria. However all the jabs were free, so I don't see the point in not having them really. Bett...

I agree with Chelsea, in 92 I first came to Thailand & was taking anti malarial drugs. My ex girlfriend & I both got dengue fever in Koh Phangan of all places. It can't have been a bad strain, we are still here to tell the tale, but we were both really ill. So again I can only agree, whateve...

Quoted by Jaime
'Hoo-(w)ah Hin'
My mrs pronounces it exactly the same as that, she's from Isaan though. However her sister who's lived in HH for 20 odd years says it the same way.
