I heard something interesting today. People going home night time up soi 94 are using soi 88 instead. Apparently police have been told they should/can't have check points in soi 88 before/east of the court house. Could this really be true?

Re: Tax residency in Thailand and taxing overseas income
What about living on your personal bank savings from abroad? Is that considered income here too if it's transferred from abroad into Thailand? It is not an income such as pension, salary or compensation for work performed anywhere!

Explosions or thunder around Soi 94?
I'm living in Soi 94 and this morning I have heard some bangs/explosions some distance away. I cannot see any weather causing thunder so it must probably be something else. Anyone have any ideas what is going on?

I came from the airport today. Left the airport 06:20 and was at my house in Soi 94 09:10. Took the normal route, Param 2 and underneath all the new construction.

Anyone knows if a real Italian porchetta is available in Hua Hin? I didn't see it on the menu from Andreas or Pane & Focaccia.

Just heard via FB that Market Village has suffered flooding. Anyone on the ground know more? I was in Patts over the weekend and it was a tad wet with power cuts on Saturday night - not that we noticed. Now in Bkk, equally wet and horrible! 1747049321802.jpg Video here: https://www.facebook.com/sha...

Re: Bars and nightlife in Soi 94
I tried the Brewdog last night. Very nice. But I hope they sort out the chaos trying to pay. It took 45 mins from asking for the bill until I got to pay and received my change. Not nearly good enough! I guess they will improve. It is early days, but knowing it's St.Patricks Day tomorrow [emoji51][em...

As a matter of fact the built in protection from Microsoft is more than good enough. I haven't used anything else for the last 5 years and never had any issues at all.

Re: Premier League 2024-25
Manchester United's Brazilian midfielder Casemiro, 32, wants to see out the remaining 16 months of his £300,000 per week contract, dealing a blow to the club's plans to sell him to raise transfer funds. Looks like even the Saudi league don't want to be burdened with this donkey. Put him in with the...
