One of the things I like to do. Reading the Bangkok post with a cup.
Starbucks used to have papers but alas no more. A carryover from covid times I guess.
Centara hotel has in the museum, but have to get there before someone takes them home. Funny I stayed there before and everyroom had one delivered in the am.
Even the paper seller runs out quite quick who is near night market area.
Thanks
Tony
Coffee shops with newspapers
Re: Coffee shops with newspapers
Unfortunately all the shops I used to get the newspaper have stopped selling them for lack of demand

The Oasis, bar/restaurant, in Khao Takiab (opposite Seacraze) has the Bangkok Post available each day and usually Hua Hin Today. They do a very good English breakfast as well.....

Out of left field maybe, but royal hua Hin golf club has the papers, as well as a nice view, over the course, very good food and cheap beer !

Pattys Corner near the railway station next to the 711 has a Bangkok Post for customers to read.

Yes open to anyone, no particular dress code as golfers are coming in sweaty and with shorts and flip flops.
Just walk in and go up the big staircase. Some interesting historical photos and things to read on the way up.
The bar / restaurant is open air ( with a roof ) with views of the course.

Thanks for that, I'll give it a try when I'm back in town.Mikeyb wrote: ↑Tue Jul 25, 2023 8:28 pmYes open to anyone, no particular dress code as golfers are coming in sweaty and with shorts and flip flops.

I bet the Hua Hin Today is about 7 months out of date. Just about everything I read about in there has already been and gone.berlinmichael wrote: ↑Tue Jul 25, 2023 10:08 am The Oasis, bar/restaurant, in Khao Takiab (opposite Seacraze) has the Bangkok Post available each day and usually Hua Hin Today.
