coup that ousted Thaksin from power on September 19th, 2006, he said that

because to bring down Prayut there was a need for 28 MPs to vote against
him and if one divides 2 billion baht with 28 MPs needed it would mean
that each MP would need 71 million baht to vote against, whereas the
going rate to buy out MPs is a mere 5-million baht.
He told people to check on the news before believing them and not believe
news released by ‘buffalo’.
He said that the government has cut its limbs out with the decision to fire
2 of its key people in the PPRP and therefore the government’s longevity
is likely to be compromised.
