Hua Hin nightlife advice please
I'm coming to Huahin in November for 2 weeks with 3 friends, all English and aged between 20 - 24 just wondering if anyone can reccomend good bars/nightlife areas for our age group or if there are any must see things in the area?

Re: Advice please
That's true..if you guys hit the main 'Bar Area' which has 4 Streets making up a square section to trawl round, then as the bars start to close around 12-2am then (if you're still standing due to not enuf beer or your new teerak not got you to your room yet )..then there's the 'hidden' Karaoke-Bar Area to party-on till dawn! After finding-your-feet around town you can possibly then venture up the Soi 80 bar-area.

Apologies. What is a teerak?
Re: Hua Hin nightlife advice please
Teerak means darling in Thai. ie, my teerak means my darling.
Re: Hua Hin nightlife advice please
Is the caraoke area still "closed" until Hilton ends up for the night?
On my way over so need to be a bit up front!!

It takes less that 10 minutes to walk round Bintabaht:

...have a wander and stop at a bar you like the look of. Personally I liked London Bar as it's spacious with a live band and pool table. Lively but not packed so a good atmosphere.
You should also check out Caddy Shack, it's a small bar but like nothing you'll find in the UK.
After midnight / 1am the action moves to the clubs next to Hilton Brewery. Small but lively venues. I've only been in Cat Club but I imagine they're all similar. There was no entry fee and drinks were reasonably priced (compared to UK).
I enjoy Hua Hin, it's a relaxing contrast to Pattaya / Phuket but it's not really for known for it's wild nights. It's not devoid of action but it's much slower paced than it's vulgar cousins.

HH is certainly different.
Sit in the food court area at our leading shopping center and you will see more beautiful Thai ladies in 30 mins that you will see in the bar area all night.

I must admit I'm puzzled as to why 4 guys your age are heading to HuaHin rather than Pattaya - which would usually be the number one choice with more bars and nightlife than you could shake a stick at.billrob1992 wrote:I'm coming to Huahin in November for 2 weeks with 3 friends, all English and aged between 20 - 24 just wondering if anyone can reccomend good bars/nightlife areas for our age group or if there are any must see things in the area?
Anyway you will find good times in HH as well - just at a slower pace. As for places to see, for first time visitors it's probably easiest to check out the tour operators in town, and see what they have to offer. It's a more expensive way to see the sights but the easiest given limited time.
One very popular trip from HuaHin is to the River Kwai. Book straight away if you fancy doing that trip, and to get the most out of it go for an overnight stay.
A sprout is for life - not just for Christmas.

To say that the night life in HH is "At a slower pace" than Pattaya is not a fair representation.
Just one example-- In P there are perhaps a hundred gogo bars with girls dancing in various stages of undress--sometimes naked-- in HH, zero--- that is more than a change of pace.
On the other hand HH has many advantages, depends what the boys are looking for.
