Re: The US Open (tennis)
Looking at the different sports she has done and education she is probably good at everything she tries.
Woke up this morning breathing that's a good start to the day.

Yup, you'll be happy to know Pharvey she's an F1 fanatic and is/was a keen go-karter and motocross girl!lindosfan1 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 14, 2021 5:48 pmLooking at the different sports she has done and education she is probably good at everything she tries.
Many strings to the young lady's bow.
Edit: I do hope she was warned to keep her distance from the many radical left attendees at that gala, mind. A lot of underlying hatred for others at the event. She seems to have a good team around her.

Indeed she is Lindos - I was just making a joke regards to fashion (?). She will no doubt go far, great looks, great talent and a great brain.lindosfan1 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 14, 2021 5:48 pmLooking at the different sports she has done and education she is probably good at everything she tries.

I'm not sure I follow. You mentioned she's good at tennis, I mentioned she speaks Mandarin. It was a perfectly anodyne comment.pharvey wrote: ↑Tue Sep 14, 2021 6:35 pmSo does my wife - I also try my best in order to speak to family.....

Re: The US Open (tennis)
As some of you know, I'm standing for the overseas mod position at the next moderators' election, but I haven't really laid out my policy. So let me give you an example:
I would also authorise a Board Bundle on pharvey. Everybody gets one free insult, no repercussions. No particular reason for that, just that it would be fun.
I know I can count on your votes, fellow members. Have a good day.
I would sanction GroveHillWanderer for using the word 'anodyne'. Members like Lost, sateeb, lindosfan and pharvey will be diving for their dictionaries, and it displays a distinct lack of consideration to make people feel inferior in this way. Homer used to do this a lot before he sought asylum in Greece, though he went one step further by actually posting the accompanying dictionary definition.

Anodyne. Mr DM I don't have to look it up in the dictionary because I know it's how posh people pronounce Anadindtaai-maai wrote: ↑Tue Sep 14, 2021 8:09 pm As some of you know, I'm standing for the overseas mod position at the next moderators' election, but I haven't really laid out my policy. Guess what - she does!GroveHillWanderer wrote: ↑Tue Sep 14, 2021 6:05 pm And I wouldn't be at all surprised to find she speaks Romanian, either.
Here's a clip of her replying in what apparently sounds like fluent Romanian to a fan, after the US Open Final.
