Hello,
I was interested to hear people's comments regarding their experiences regarding hernia surgery.
I have been recommended Petcherat hospital for hernias, but wanted to hear some opinions from people that may have had this procedure before....I.e.Bangkok hospital vs Petcherat.

Re: Hernia treatment
Hi,
I had a hernia surgery end of december at the hua hin hospital and everything went out well. Had to stay 2 days in hospital one day before and one day after surgery. I was glad to get a privat room which was more than 60 sqm and a huge balkony. Costs all together was 17000 Bath. No complaints. Had a good recovery and I am back on the tennis court.

I am not alarmed about surgery, I am alarmed about Anethesia. I have had surgery twice at Thai hospitals. In each case I asked to speak to the Anethetist before surgery. Each time it was a very professional English speaking Female Dr who were very reassuring. Generally Anesthesia in Thailand is of a high standard.
