also, the hi-so are sending their children to International schools that teach in english and to Univs in US,Canada UK and Aus--- but teach the children from humble backgrounds to speak English, Oh NO that could lead to trouble.

Its interesting how a language hasa culture built into it. i worked for a Thai boss who had lived and worked in the US for many years. With Thai staff he naturally talked with them in Thai. If ,however, he was unhappy or had to discipline them, he always did it in English. In English he could be more direct and authoritative and of course, confrontational.
