FYI, practice 1 and 2 at Monaco is already completed if you use that info to make your picks. I think Monaco is the only race with practice on the Thursday, as they have some kind of special event on Friday. To my knowledge practice 3 and qualifying is still on Saturday. Pete

Monaco is always a tough race to get right due to the track type. It's not the norm. Pete

If F1 were considering where to hold Grand Prix now Monaco wouldn`t get a look-in, difficult to overtake and winners win by other`s mistakes. Discount the aforementioned sentence if a Brit wins.

Hamilton wins it over Vettel due to better pit stop strategy, Rosberg not really in contention due to various problems, and young Verstappen continues to impress and climb the standings ladder.

http://www.bbc.com/sport/formula1/36513333

Parahandy had the best race with 20 points and extends his lead in the top position (it must be the new chair?). The top three are now Parahandy, RZR and mwbrown.

1 - Parahandy 107.50
2 - redzonerocker 101.50
3 ▲3 mwbrown 97.00
4 - pitsch 94.50
5 ▼2 pharvey 94.00
6 ▲1 lindosfan 93.50
7 ▼2 BigBoy 93.00
8 - Terry 90.00
9 - Vital Spark 86.00
10 - JJBones 85.50
11 - bsdk1960 81.00
12 - Pete 79.50

Next up is the GP of Europe this coming weekend in Baku City, Azerbaijan which I predicted earlier will be the most screwed up race of the season due to the short turnaround time and distance from Canada. We'll see..... Good luck to all! :thumb: Pete

European Grand Prix: Jenson Button and Nico Rosberg criticise Baku track

http://www.bbc.com/sport/formula1/36551737

"Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg said parts of the track in the Azerbaijani capital were "really not looking good".

Button added that some corners "don't have any run-off at all".

Rosberg hoped governing body the FIA had stuck to the safety guidelines that govern tracks, but added: "I'm doubting it a little because of those corners.".....
