Hua Hin airport... no more flights?
Hua Hin airport... no more flights?
I looked at the Hua Hin airport today.
Does it no longer transport passengers?

There are (a few) flights to Hat Yai, somewhere in Malaysia (forget the city) and Chaing Mai, as far as I'm aware. Nothing to BKK, if that's what you're looking for.

I think that's stopped as well.Pleng wrote:somewhere in Malaysia (forget the city)

SGA Airlines normally flies from Hua Hin to Bgk every evening 20.45 h but only during peak season (November- april).
Actually there is no flight existing for this short trip.

Looking for a flight to Malaysia, used to be a regular one from HH, however I checked the HH airport site and it doesn't show any flights at all, have all flights stopped from HH?

I saw, but can't confirm accuracy, a post on Facebook by somebody saying that they would be the last passengers last Wednesday.

Berjaya Airlines used to fly twice a week from Hua Hin to Subang,Kuala Lumpur, great service, great price.Air Asia took over the route and stopped it,with Berjaya only continuing local island hops within Malaysia.
Lion Air,[Indonesian] i believe are operating a service between Medan in Sumatra to Hua Hin,and onward to a southern airport in Thailand, although the schedule seems a bit unpredictable to say the least.

Lion Air do not come to HH unfortunately
What amazes me (or maybe it shouldn't) is the appalling web site HH airport has, just about no information on anything
I guess we are doomed to driving to BKK to get flights anywhere

The HH - HaT Yai flight is still running as a friend came back last week.

Re: Hua Hin airport... no more flights?
Just amazes me that anyone is able to book any flight into HH with any airline.
Hat Yai is in southern Thailand which airline flies there?
Again the airport web site is total Sh*t

Think he my have had one of the last flights. I remember looking for flights in October and there were definately flights available, but lionairthai.com have removed any references to Hua Hin from their website, unfortunatelyJimmyGreaves wrote:The HH - HaT Yai flight is still running as a friend came back last week.
Re: Hua Hin airport... no more flights?
I believe that is correct now regarding Lion Air,tried to book a flight at their offices in Bkk,and was advised that flights have now stopped. Also, visited the Kan Air ticket office in Chiang Mai two days ago,and they also confirm,NO flights to Hua Hin.Hoping Air Asia [berjaya] might re-new the schedule back down to Subang,it seemed to be quite a popular route.
