It seems English teaching is, by far, the most popular for us Falang. What about business? Would my business background as a CPA (Chartered Accountant) be useful?
My answer to this one would be not in a thousand years. Business laws, application, custom is so different here IMO, as well as all being conducted in Thai, you would have to be a very unique westerner even to get your foot in the door. I know of one, and he became a Thai citizen. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_E._Heinecke
Corporations here may appear to be western operated but they're not. The imported MD's take their lead from their Thai advisers and consultants on a daily basis. Pete
EDIT: Of course your tax specialty in helping expats at tax time is a different story.

I was thinking more of business based English or US business customs rather than US business methods (I think those are different!)
Not really teaching operations.
But maybe basic English is best, I'm really looking for something to occupy the time (I'm not a golfer, and I plan on it being "extra money" not necesary money)(but hey, I'm a bean counter, money is money!!)
The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time.
Yes, I wasn't thinking of it that way. 'English for western business/accounting/finance' may be something. I know of nothing like that here. Libor, sibor, leveraged transactions, derivatives, irrational exuberance and unusually uncertain and thousands of other terms/definitions I think would be very useful knowledge for an economics student over here. Just had a peek at the ECC website and the Bangkok location (Big C building) is temporarily closed. There are no courses at the Bangkok location until next year. You'll have to go to Chang Mai or Phuket.
