Have you wondered why Thailand are having such a long mid-season break? Have you wondered why the Thai League have recently brought all of the T1 fixtures forward?

The answer to the first one is easy. The long break is to facilitate the AFC Asian Cup 2024, which runs from 12th Jan until 10th Feb. T1 was due to resume on about 17th Feb.

The answer to the second is just as easy. The Thai League have realised that Thailand have a snowball's chance in Hell of getting to the final stages of the competition. So their planning is based on defeat. All fixtures have been brought forward.

It really P's me off because I have already made plans for the 10th Feb, and will have no option but to forego the first game of Leg 2. There are also some strange midweek fixtures planned for Leg 2 also, with my team playing on Tuesdays and Thursdays. That will do nothing to get the missing fans back onto the terraces.
