Sunday Traffic

Post by bigston »

I purposely avoid HH on the weekends, to go shopping , due to the sometimes heavy traffic
never been thru town on a sunday around 1.30 pm before, but i need to go to the north end of town
good idea or forget it, i just dont want to spend double the time getting anywhere
thanks

This is a question that can never be answered definitively, but I'd suggest a Sunday, on a long weekend. it will be busier than normal.

Thanks, for that BB
my guess is that town will most likely be pretty busy around that time as there will be more down from BKK

I’ve just been to Makro in Cha Am and for 9.30 in the morning it was heaving with what looked like Thais from Bangkok for their weekend jaunt.

I've never understood the mentality of the Bangkok mob. They live in a traffic-clogged city so what do they do at the weekend? Drive to another city to sit in traffic in their cars and go to more shopping malls.

I'm just back from Khao Tao Lake, and I confirm, traffic is heavier than normal.
