Champion's League 2022-23

Post by Lost »

The final Champion's League qualifying games are tonight. I'll be sticking the Rangers game on which should be good. Away to PSV Eindhoven with the score at 2-2.

Draw for the group stage at 5pm tomorrow.

Spurs dodged all the big boys. No Champion's League game is easy but it will be disappointing if we don't win our group.

COYS!

Yup, OK - I know I'm more geared to the rugby and pretty much understand cock all of this round ball game.... BUT, I honestly thought I'd figured a few things out.... SO, after the "Live Pick" there were 3 teams in each group (already confused as I was pretty sure of 4) - where the feck did the 4th come from? Rangers all of a sudden playing Liverpool... WTF? Yes, Rangers qualified but.... Oh heck, simply confused. :?

Is it because Rangers just qualified, as in they are a "4th Club" in the group (thanks lost)?

I think it's next too impossible to explain clearly. Best to read the below.

Not sure I understand, Pete. I watched the live draw (well, up to the completion of Tottenham's group) and it all seemed straight forward. Picked from pot 1 first to fill the first slot in each of the eight groups. Then pot 2 to fill the second slot. Pot 3. Then pot 4 for the fourth slot to complete the groups. :D

Yes, when it's available. As of this morning it wasn't. I'll look again now.

Happy Champion's League day folks. It's back! Should be able to hear the anthem booming out at the best stadium in the world from my doorstep tomorrow. :D

Difficult choice of which to watch tonight. Thinking City and Chelsea will be easy'ish' wins for them. Celtic/Real Madrid could be an interesting one to watch for the atmosphere but I'll probably end up at PSG/Juventus.
