We’re all entitled to our views on the England team and last nights performance, although I’ve not read anything quite as critical as the above post.

At the end of the day, England weren’t quite good enough to beat France, however I don’t believe they were very far away from achieving victory, when the comments would presumably have been significantly more euphoric!!

IMHO the difference last night was Loris. He played out of his skin.

In a few days time if I wake up and see Crotia vs Morocco in the final, it will confirm that the world is off its axis!

Oh, I've a sneaky bet on Croatia taking France in the final, though seeing Morocco there would cheer me up!!

Can't remember how good Ronaldo was a couple of years ago but a 35 year old Messi is still something pretty special!

Messi has proved a point - not quite the petulant prick Ronaldo is, despite the usual Wendyballer antics (diving, screaming, sobbing et al)...

Hoping Morocco do the business tonight - Christ, I have a massive £2 on them!!

Yup, shame. Well... I'll be cheering on Argentina. Tottenham's Hugo already has a world cup winner's medal, better if Cuti Romero takes one home.

Southgate to stay till Euro 24 at least. Thoughts? Personally, I thought we deserved more in the world cup, played well in the quarters and were unlucky to go out. Just my opinion.

A win is necessary at the next euros to justify it mind. At this point anything less must be classed as failure surely.

Two tottenham players starting in today's final. More than any other prem club. As good as a trophy, that.
