I'd been wanting to visit this waterfall for quite a while. I first read about it in the mountain bike column in the Bangkok Post. Unfortunately, every attempt was thwarted by either weather or time constraints. Finally made it last week.
I rode my bicycle from my condo as far as I could pedal and then hiked the rest of the way. It is a very beautiful place; marred only by the fact that off-road enthusiasts have ripped and torn much of a trail that should really only be used by hikers and, maybe, mountain bikes.
This is the route I took. Overall round trip was 67K. 57K on the bike and 10K on foot.
The sign is only visible if you're traveling south on Hwy 4002
The first few hundred meters of the road are paved (concrete). Much of the rest is well-maintained dirt or gravel. Once you start climbing it deteriorates rapidly.
Lots of corn and pineapple in the flats.
When I first heard the water I had to get off my bike and have a look.
This corn farmer gave me some good information on reaching the falls and where to hike.
The road is a mess in places.

These mushroom gatherers gave me some help when I wandered off the trail.
There are many small check dams on the stream. This one has seen better days.
Well worth the walk.
