The family expert, having bottled it yesterday, now says it is a willow.

And here she is now in all her wondrous summer glory, my beloved goat willow.

But I have devastating news... she has been condemned to death. Apparently she is leaning dangerously and threatening to plummet onto the neighbouring building. I've threatened to tie myself to the trunk, but no one seems to care...

I go and talk to her every day to prepare her for what is to come. I've told her that she's going to a better place. I don't mention that means getting chopped up and used for firewood...😣

Maybe, furniture? The trunk would make a nice table.

Oh I'm sure DM could whittle a Wooden Spoon for England's next Six Nations!! :thumb: :D

That said, a piece 1" thick and 500mm odd in diameter would be good - trying to mark out a Draughts/Chess Set, with Chinese Checkers on the reverse - a gameboard that brings back many memories with my now dearly departed Grandparents (have all the pieces, just the board is ..... well, old).... :D

Catch the bugger with the chainsaw DM - I'll buy you a few beers (or better Whisky)! :thumb:

DM I googled it and it looks like a black willow which does not droop. Unlike Welsh men. :D

Make your mind up, man!

You're a cold and heartless bunch. Here I am about to lie down in front of the bulldozers, and all you can do is take the piss.

.... And ask for small favours.

We could have a BBQ and a few beers watching the event. Or if you're stuck on lying down in front of the dozer, I could have a couple of extra beers and a giggle... :thumb:
