UK libraries closing

Nottinghamshire is closing all its libraries from Monday until further notice. They have also made the following announcement:
Borrow up to 48 items with immediate effect
With immediate effect you may borrow up to 48 books/DVDs and all overdue charges will be waived.
48! :shock: :laugh:

My local library is closed for refurbishment and the next nearest is closed due to flood damage. I've been using the mobile library, which is handy because when I pop in on Saturday and take out 48 books, they can deliver them to my door!

Some of the US libraries are advertising free access to their online library
The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time.
