There's public transport via songthaews but they only go on certain routes. If that route suits you, then they're great.
And as Steve G says above, there are local buses - orange ones - that ply their trade from the centre of town up to Petchaburi or down south to Pranburi. Pretty regular and inexpensive.
There you or she goes.

Yes, there's a yellow one that goes from near the day market and up the Pulau-U road, I don't actually know it's final destination but it goes off over the bypass and heads out to the west.

Baan Padyen, Soi 94. 5000 b for a BIG single room with air con. So big that the size was the first thing mentioned by people stepping inside for the first time. I lived there 8 years. The landlords are fair. They fix problems quickly, often within hours. The next door neighbor has roosters. Many roosters. There is a 7-11 about 100 meters away.

The map on facebook is way, way wrong. Search google maps for: The Rise Home soi 94 Hua Hin .
Baan Padyen is the green building next to The Rise Home.

Yes, on a similar vein, V Living has its own gym, pool etc is modern and a stone throw away from where Homer mentions. This is only 5,500 Baht/month (minimum 3 months).

Also, I think Serene Place, a bit further down 94 towards Petchkasem is < 5000 Baht.
Championship Stoke City 3 - 0 Plymouth Argyle

I remembered it being yellow but you might be right! I'll be back next week and I'll ask my partner exactly where it goes as she uses it occasionally.
