As it's almost midnight, it's L.A.Guns - Rip & Tear

"Midnite and I'm ready to move..."
When I get lonely and I'm sure I've had enough
She sends her comfort coming in from above
We don't need a letter at all
We got a thing that's called... Radar love...

Hell of difficult task to pick one.

I do not like the Eagles myself but one exception is Outlaw man. More likely contenders are Creep (Radiohead), Renee (Talk Talk), Living all alone (Phyllis Hyman), Badge (Cream), Unfinished Sympathy & Three (Massive Attack), Wooden Ships (Jefferson Starship), The Fool (Quicksiver Messenger Service) and and the O'Jays Backstabbers.

I reckon Dave would not have a problem playing at least three of them along with few Erikah Badu songs.

Dave, you need to let go of this dogma and release your inner country rock self. I will give you counselling by means of karaoke next time I'm in town if required. :P
You will be offering banjo lessons next, teaching me to speak cajun, squeel like a pig and im not intrested in any line dancing lessons either

I don't think you can have A favorite song. It all depends on the moment.

"Here Comes the Sun". A great song-- Boulder, CO 1972+/-. A true "long, cold winter". Feb. 1, the sun comes out blazing. Crank up the stereo on the fist day of "People's Spring". We all proceeded to get ripped.

Saturday-- trying to find a garage to get a smog certificate for my car. A beautiful day. Tom Petty "Free Fallen"; not quite as spectacular as Boulder, but still the song for the moment.

Other moments -- late nights in various sleazy bars "Satisfaction" by the Stones.

The Sunday morning paper or weekly news magazines -- either "Sympathy for the Devil" (Stones) or Dylan's "Masters of War"

So when you post your favorite, what is the moment that accompanies it?

What's your favourite song?
In keeping with the spirit of the WC, I'd have to say... "there were 10 german bombers" or perhaps "the great escape" :D

Difficult; Led Zeppelin "Stairway to Heaven", Procul Harum "Whiter Shade of Pale" or Guns n Roses " November Rain". Oh, forgot "Freebird", Lynyrd Skynyrd. My little boy's favourite is Deep Purple "Smoke on the Water" - how's that for a 4 year old with good taste?! :D don't answer that, Dr. Dave!

Totally agree Hans. here's a couple of mine.
Driving across the States, August 1992, delivering a car from Albuquerque to Oklahoma City (via San Antonio, Houston and Dallas), and I was just crossing the border between New Mexico and Texas, and of course I had the radio on. Two things happened as I crossed the border; first the heavens opened as a huge thunderstorm broke; second, the DJ played 'Texas Flood' by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, already one of my favourite ever songs!

Second one is less dramatic, and a probably less known song, it is just a reminder of the time I spent in Australia (1991 - 1992) as it was on all the time, and is 'Blister In The Sun' by the Violent Femmes.

Hard say what is the best song. But best group is absolutely AC/DC.

You shook me all night long.
Blackburn Rovers, pride of East Lancashire.
Burnley never play Premierleague.
