What does the remark beside Chinese New Year mean please? Easily done, but I'm confused.

Regional holiday in those four provinces only, per the colour code.

OK, I see the colour code now (on page 4). Maybe it needs to appear on each page.

Cabinet approves April 12 as additional holiday

The cabinet has approved April 12, 2019 as an additional holiday, bringing the total number of Songkran holidays this year to five — from April 12-16.

April 13 of every year is the Songkran day and April 14 is the family day. For 2019, both fall on Saturday and Sunday so Monday and Tuesday are subsitute holidays for those days. The cabinet’s decision ton Tuesday added Friday as another holiday, bringing the total holidays for the festival to five.

Earlier, the cabinet approved on Jan 29 for May 6 to be an additional holiday for the coronation ceremony.

Sunday March 24 Election Day

The election is still scheduled per the above. Alcohol sales will be prohibited but unknown if the ban will include all or part Saturday March 23, or begin at midnight on Sunday. Check your local establishments for more details.

The above is the only event for March.
