Deputy government spokeswoman Traisulee Taisaranakul said on Monday the APEC meeting agreed to designate Nov 16-18 as a special public holiday for Bangkok and its surrounding provinces -- Nakhon Pathom, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Samut Prakan and Samut Sakhon....

I'll list them again when time for the November entry. As the dates are a Wednesday through Friday it will be a super long 5 day weekend, and people will be traveling to their favourite beach resorts.

Yes, the 16th is my birthday, and when he asked me about the rest of the week I told him to extend the holiday, as it does not make much difference in this country as most of them regard the complete week as a holiday anyway.Nov 16-18 as a special public holiday for Bangkok

Yes, schools are already closed. Thai term break. IS 1/2 term break for a week and a half.
