It is easier this week to let the Beach Hero's own posting speak this week:
We cleaned 3 places today. 1st and Hua Hin main pier, 8 people (including 1 kid) cleaned 70 kg. of trash which we plan to come back here again next week. 2nd at Hua Hin beach, supporting by V-villas, Coconut beach bar and Love beach bar 4 people cleanup the beach with 50 kg. of trash and 3rd at Sam Roi Yod beach 3 people removed 20 kg. of rubbish from the beach. Total we 15 people (1 kid) cleaned 140 kg. of trash from 3 beaches! Thank you!!!

Husband and wife duo call for Thais to clean up beaches before reopening
A husband and wife duo in Hua Hin Thailand have taken it upon themselves to clean up the beaches of Prachuap Kiri Khan and has called on Thais around the country to help do the same ahead of the country opening up on November 1.

The duo, who run a blog called Life out Loud, said that they wanted to raise awareness about the trash and pollution issue on Thailand’s many beaches which has continued despite the lack of tourists.

The duo say that if they can make an impact on their local beach then Thais everywhere can do the same by helping organize beach cleanups.

https://www.thaienquirer.com/33717/husb ... reopening/

Fairplay to them but the article doesn't mention the fact that there are organized groups such as Trash Hero that have been cleaning up the beaches for years.

I know Thais are often criticised for not doing their bit in keeping their beaches clean. However, they have put in a sterling effort today, led by Hua Hin's Mayor.
