What to do in hua hin :-)

So what is going on around here and where does it happen? This section is for discussion on local events, festivals, and holidays as well as activities and things to do.

What to do in hua hin :-)

Post by Morten »

Hi there.

All suggestions are welcome,

As some of you know (because you read some of my other topics) I go to Hua Hin to visit my girlfriend in April, I will stay for about 6 weeks but 2 weeks we plan to travel around (chiang mai, pattaya, bangkok)

But the first 2 weeks of my holiday I/we stay in hua hin, my girlfriend works as a waitress in a resturant from 16.00 to 01.00 so you see I have some time to "kill" alone,

offcause the first few days I can walk around talk with some people, look in the nightmarked etc. etc. but I cannot do the same things everyday/night.

So I was thinking I wanted to get some inspiration from you, what can I do in hua hin in that time when my girlfriend is working.

I enjoy fisching and that is something I can do alone, but then I dont know, and I cannot go fisching everyday,

A littlebit information about myself,

Im a young man :-) 25 years old from denmark, ..... that was a littlebit information :-)

Hope you can come up with some good suggestions...

Btw I also stay in hua hin the last 2 weeks of my holiday and offcause i have same "problem"

If your suggestions is "go to the first bar.. you can find plenty entertainment for cheap money" then please keep for yourself, thanks :D

thanks in advance

Hi Morten,

Some night time suggestions apart from sitting in the beer bars:

Squid fishing , there are boats that run night trips
Thai boxing , twice a week at night
Movie/Cinema, the new one has now opened
Ten-pin bowling, the new place is opening any day
Thai dancing dinner shows, there's a couple of decent venues I believe
Live music, there's a decent new 'music garden' behind the Grand market
Golf driving range they are open at night

That's about all I can think of, and obviously some of the above may not interest a 25 year old.
Ofcourse you could always sit in a bar and get thrashed at connect 4 ...................

Hmm, the one at the back looks familiar, think I chartered her one night, dropped my anchor and she was hooked.

It dont interest me that you chartered a girl one night or not, or what you did with her, that is not what my topic is about,

please keep this topic sober, and come with some good suggestions.

I think the girls in the photos are probably not included in the price but if you PM Steve I am sure he will be able to tell you! :P
