These cute little fellows are called Dusky Leaf Monkeys (Presbytis Obscura Reid), they can be found at a lesser known spot (foot of Khao Lom Muak) in Wing 5 near Ao Manao. They are very approachable and far friendlier than the aggressive teeth baring Macaques in Khao Takiab and elsewhere in Thailand.

Myself and Big Boy walked around the grounds of the Wing 5 Air museum and had an audience of these little fellows.

Great photos, Buksi, and they look super-cute with their kind of gormless wide-eyed look.

You pointed the monkeys out to us unless it was different ones.

I remember taking you past the base of looking glass mountain to show you the nastier variety buksi mentions.
The only time I remember seeing this particular type of monkey was on the way back from Phraya Nakhon Cave, but those babies were not friendly.

I am sure the monkeys that we had seen on that day were different from Khao Takiab ones.
Maybe we need to take another look.

As far as I know, this is my only sighting of that particular breed, but I'm not getting any younger, and I do forget things
