I've been told that the Thai/Chinese gentleman who has owned it all for ages has decided to not renew any leases and it all will be sold for some new "mega" development. Anyone else hear this? I hope I am wrong. Lomuamart, I think I remember you mentioning you worked at Lone Starr long ago so you must know Ned and Ott. I've known them for about 14 years but haven't seen them for 6 months but I was also told the Lone Starr is now under new ownership? If so, that leaves them with Moonshine, Jomtien only. Pretty slick of they did sell it only months before leases won't be renewed. Any news appreciated. Pete

I'm the one who was a manager at Lone Staar for a while back on -99. I remember at that time we were also looking for a place to open our own place in the area (we checked the one were Dubliner is now) and someone said that they had 9 years left in the leases. That would make it two more to go but it could be less than that. Ned and Ott own Silver Dollar (I saw Ned in Bangkok in a darts tournament last August). I don't know if George still has the Lone Star as he is well over 80 now.
