Post by rajanmwuk »

Hi We are planning to be in Hua-hin Dec 26-Jan 2nd and would like to know about dog kennels in Hua-hin. Kennel Europe is a bit far away. Are there any igood high quality local kennels who can pick up and drop off our dog (a small toy breed - Shitzu)

My neighbour used a kennel in Hua Hin called something like Pet Hotel which I believe is somewhere on the canal road, I can probably get some details when I phone home tomorrow if no one else can help further.

Still open; current phone number is 0819413970 sometimes you have to ring for a while as they are busy down at the kennels.

Not really. The one in Mountain Vill charges anywhere from 350 to 500 baht per day depending on the size of the dog and the cages are tiny. The woman who runs the place says she lets the dogs out
in her yard (which is also small) a couple of times a day so they can play, but no walks outside. I wouldn't recommend it for anybody with anything larger than a lap dog.

She also has cats walking around her property (her own cats), which means if you have a dog who hates cats, this is not the place for you at all.

How about Love at First Bark? They are advertising "Grooming & Dog Hotel". Have only used grooming so I don't know how is hotel...
You can call and ask: 086 3922269. Man there speaks very little english but lady speaks ok. If she is not there, man calls her.
They have place: drive soi 88 (from Phtekasem) over the railway
and turn left. About 30meter you see them.
