The reason behind this...

How many English players were in Manchester City's championship winning squad, again? We've swamped our league with foreigners and in doing so have killed off any hope we had of improving young English talent.

As for Suarez... I like him! When do you see him doing the dirty off the field along with the likes of John (Captain,Leader,Prick) Terry, Ryan Giggs and Wayne (couldn't be arsed) Rooney. He's a family man who just likes a bite now and then.

It's true that the England Team have given us another very disappointing tournement. However, it will continue this way as long as the premier league clubs have a different agenda to the FA. The privately owned league clubs (many foreign owned) have no interest in the well being of the national team. And as Long as the premier league remains awash with tv money it's unlikely to change - more foreign players and owners arrive each season.
The only solution I can see is a Limit to the number of foreign Players owned by each club. Of course this will be very difficult to impose now and will surely result in some serious litigation by the premier league.
It's time the stuffed blazers at the FA started to manage the English game as the misery is likely to continue..........

Go easy on the kid, we know he is not the brightest, but he is harmless and he can be entertaining at times.
